This hotel is well-situated in the heart of Riga, opposite the National Opera House and close to the Freedom Monument. Public transport links are plentiful and the airport is a 20 min drive away.

This property is a huge and imposing granite building. Coloured light brown, it is a reminder of the grand architecture of Latvia's Soviet past. The lobby is large and split-level. Guest rooms are medium sized and kept in good condition, as are the bathrooms. Their design is what one might expect of a large, state-owned Soviet Bloc hotel, with plain colours and simple decor. The restaurant, on the ground floor, is a spacious, elegant room with light marble pillars and ornate chandeliers. The furniture is dark pine and the walls deep red.
