Traveller from wimborne stayed in November,2007

The hotel is an oasis but the management must be congratulated on its efforts to do deliver a standard of service in what is a deprived area. Indeed, I enjoyed my brief stay compared to the previous nights I spent in Kiev. I will use the hotel again when I transit through Riga.

Top Tip:
First, I suggest you ignore the area and concentrate on the accommodation and service at this hotel. From my observation, I believe the local commmunity is trying to improve the overall situation for the local population and the hotel is a indication of the effort that is being directed to achieving this. Second, for the price, I recommend this hotel for a short stay. That said, I cannot advise on its suitability long term because I arrived at night and thus did not register what facilites were available within the hotel nor the distance to the city centre.
